Love Your Heart Life

Love Your Heart Life began in August 2020.  I came home from staying in the hospital for 4 days with a two-inch cut in the middle of my face with 18 stitches. My heart rate went to 300 beats per minute while finishing my shower and I face-planted on the bathroom tile. I left the hospital with a lengthy discharge paper.

We had a family trip planned to Hilton Head, which I encouraged my family to go and have fun.  I stayed home. While my family was on vacation, I had a week to rest and recover. I had a lot of time to think.

Being in the middle of Covid, there was a lot of time together as a family.  My husband was working from home and the kids were in school with Covid rules.  Being high risk for Covid I spent a lot of time at home.  I decided to start journaling my journey living with heart disease.  I wanted to bring awareness to people about heart disease.

My dear friend Esther, a talented and creative web designer, brought Love Your Heart Life alive.  I turned my journaling into blogging my story.  I wanted to make reading about heart disease enjoyable to read.  If that is possible.  So, I included photos in my story of where I was in life, the age of the kids and how life went on.  Esther was so patient with me and helped me in so many ways.  One of my favorite things to do with Esther is have coffee.

Love Your Heart Life was idle for a while. But recently, I have had women, who are friends of mine, reach out to me about their heart diagnosis making me realize the importance of bringing awareness to people about heart disease.

I am not a techie nor a web designer but I like to learn and understand how it all works. I was introduced to Lauren who has many talents which are a must  in the social media world.  I have been working with Lauren, Online-with-lolo, who has taught me so much.  I am grateful Lauren is patient and an amazing teacher.

Love Your Heart Life branding came alive when I connected with Caitlin Hottinger.  Caitlin has a branding business @caitlinhottinger.com.  I enjoy working with Caitlin and am amazed by her artistic talent.  I have known Caitlin since she was 10 years old. I am so excited to be working with Caitlin!
